Columbus, Ga. – Despite an outstanding pitching effort by Luke R. Barch, Augusta dropped game one of their doubleheader to Columbus State 4-1. Then, in game two, the Jaguars hit four homers, but came up short in dropping a 9-8 decision to the Cougars. Augusta is now 5-13 in the conference and 9-30 overall. Columbus State is 9-8 in the Peach Belt Conference, 20-15 overall.
