AZUSA, Calif. – Senior distance runner Avery Jaynes etched his name into the record books on Friday night at the Bryan Clay Invitational, running the fastest 5000m time in both Augusta University and Peach Belt Conference history. Jaynes crossed the line in 13:51.61, shattering program and conference records and securing an NCAA provisional qualifying mark.
