Augusta, Ga. – Freshman Harris Bachelder hit the first pitch in the bottom of the ninth over the right field wall giving Augusta a thrilling 4-3 win over Lander Friday night at Jaguar Field. It was Bachelder’s first homer of his career. With the win, the Jaguars improve to 8-2 in Peach Belt Conference play and 12-8 overall, the Bearcats are now 6-4 in conference play and 12-8 overall.
