With the passage of Hurricane/Tropical Storm Michael, Augusta government will resume full operations on Friday, Oct. 12. All employees are expected to report for normal shifts.
Please note that garbage and recyclable collection service is pushed back one day — as Thursday’s customers will be picked up on Friday, Friday’s customers on Saturday.
City workers continue to clean up debris left behind by the storm. It is estimated this work will take several days.
