Families now have another opportunity for fun at SRP Park while also benefiting Children’s Hospital of Georgia – playing a round at Auggie’s Acres. The 9-hole miniature golf course opens Monday in the Kids Zone.
“We challenged our staff to continue to look for unique ways to connect with the community and have some fun in the process,” GreenJackets Vice President Tom Denlinger said in a press release.
Playing the natural grass course will cost $5, with $1 benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Georgia.
The par 21 course setup will change daily to offer players new challenges with obstacles such as a sand trap, an E-Z-GO shuttle and a Bridgestone tire. Sanitized putters will be available, but players are encouraged to bring their own.
Auggie’s Acres opens to the public Monday, Oct. 19, with hours from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. The last tee time is 4:45 p.m. The course will also be open during various public events. Players must check in at the Hive Pro Shop at the SRP Park entrance.
