The Augusta GreenJackets are hosting a third Dugout Theater Movie Experience at SRP Park Friday, Dec. 18.

Spokesperson Catie Graf said Tim Allen’s 1994 Christmas classic “The Santa Clause” will be featured on the stadium’s state-of-the-art video board while guests relax in socially-distanced spaces, also known as pods, either on the field or in the stands. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. with the movie slated to start at 6:30 p.m.

Guests are encouraged to bring a toy(s) to benefit Toys for Tots and be entered to win GreenJackets fan gear. Additionally, The Hive Pro Shop will be open featuring great holiday deals on fan gear.

Tickets must be purchased in advance from greenjacketsbaseball.com and will be emailed following the purchase. They go on sale Tuesday at 10 a.m.

Parking for Dugout Theater is available in the Hotel Deck where the first two hours are free, $3 for three hours, and $1 for each additional hour.

The GreenJackets are encouraging all guests to adhere to protocols for the health and safety of other guests and staff, including wearing a mask upon entry and when walking around the ballpark, and to follow social distancing guidelines. If a guest is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, he/she is asked to stay home.

SRP Park will have hand sanitizing stations and restrooms available for guests. Additional details on SRP Park’s re-opening protocols can be found on the online 2020 season update.

The GreenJackets season was canceled this year out due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While GreenJackets officials have said they are not worried about the club’s future, they encourage fans to come to these events as a way to show support until games can resume.
