Augusta, GA – The Augusta men’s basketball team secured a dominant 88-76 victory over Georgia College on Wednesday night. The game served as the annual Cancer Awareness – HERE TO WIN event in conjunction with the Georgia Cancer Center. During halftime, Demitri Gardner was honored for surpassing 1,000 career points, marking a significant milestone in his collegiate career. With the win, Augusta improves to 12-6overall and 6-2 in Peach Belt Conference play, while Georgia College falls to 6-13 and 1-8 in league action.
