Aiken, S.C. – Luke R. Barch went 6.1 innings giving up just a single run on two hits as Augusta knocked off USC Aiken 6-1 Saturday at Roberto Hernandez Stadium in Aiken. S.C, Griffin Stewart pitched the final 2.2 innings to pick up the save as the Jags even the series with the Pacers at a game apiece. With the victory, Augusta is now 6-14 in the Peach Belt Conference and 10-31 overall. The Pacers are 7-13 in conference play, 17-24 overall. The win by Barch was his second and Griffin picked up his second save of the year.
