AZUSA, Calif. – Augusta University runners made their mark on the national stage this weekend at the Bryan Clay Invitational, the largest and fastest collegiate distance meet in the country. Competing against top-tier athletes from powerhouse programs, Emily McBride broke her own school record in the 3000m steeplechase, while Madison Kennedy came just seconds shy of setting a new Augusta standard in the 10,000-meter run. McBride also returned to the track later in the weekend to post a competitive time in the 5000m.
