Carlsbad, Ca. – On a tough scoring day where only six teams were able to break par, Augusta struggled and are now in 29th place after 36 holes. The field of 30 teams will be trimmed to 15 after Sunday’s third round and then another cut will be made after 72 holes with only the top eight advancing to match play. The Jaguars were 22-over-par on Saturday and are 17 shots out of the top 15.
