• Stephanie’s completely custom gown, by designer Nneka Alexander of Brides by Nona, featured hand sewn Swarovski crystals. From start to finish, the dress took six months to complete.
• The couple requested a “memory table” so that their loved ones who had passed could also be present for their special day.
• Stephanie was walked down the aisle by her three brothers. Her youngest brother, Akeem Tyree Russell, took the lead and met the second oldest, Trence Lamar Russell, further down the isle. Stephanie’s oldest brother, Jerry Earl Russell, handed her off to Rodney.
• Musical special guest Major performed “Why I Love You” for the couple’s first dance. Rodney took to the monogrammed dance floor with his aunt, Mary Martin. Stephanie shared her dance with all three of her brothers.
