Columbus, Ga – Mason Bernard didn’t allow a single run against Columbus State, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Augusta to a 1-0 victory on Friday in the first game of the series. With the win, Augusta improves to 21-18, 12-13 in conference play while Columbus State is now 25-12, 13-10 in the Peach Belt.
