Augusta, Ga. – It was a historic season for the Augusta University women’s basketball season as they won the Peach Belt Conference Tournament for the first time in 33 years back in March. The women knocked off Georgia College for the title. The win also gave the Jaguars an automatic birth into the NCAA Tournament where they would fall to Lenoir-Rhyne in the opening round.
