“There were many special moments. My father’s current band, The Coveralls, and his old band, Augusta Toasters, both performed for our reception dinner, “ Catherine said. “And the flow of the event on the wedding day allowed my husband and me, as well as our guests and family, to really enjoy every moment … from the sit-down dinner to the dancing, it was very intentional through every phase.”

- It was important to Catherine and Brendan to be fully present during their big day. They found that a seated dinner allowed them the time to embrace the moment and remain focused on one another.
- A side table at the reception held a collection of old wedding photos (family members to both the bride and groom) as a memento to the legacy of marriage.
- The bride wore her mother’s original wedding veil as “something borrowed.”
- A fun element enjoyed at the reception by all the guests were the light-up tambourines.
